I am moving to Raleigh. Do you think Kevin Youkilis will be able to find me?

This would NEVER happen to me in Raleigh.

Dear Boston Friends,

Next time you see Kevin Youkilis at the Cheesecake Factory, could you tell him I’m in Raleigh now? Thanks.

PS- Do you know anyone in Raleigh?

Because… um… other than the exboyfriend (who I’d kind of prefer NOT know I’m in Raleigh. At least while I sort out my anger issues), I know…. oh… no one…

Two weeks, ladies and gents. Two weeks…

There’s no baseball in Raleigh… sigh.

But at least there are… you know… people there. Oh! And you know what’s NOT in Raleigh? Mountains.

It isn’t a question of whether he can find you. If you are a high fastball, he;’ll never make contact…

Congrats on the move. Wish you could have stuck around until the season started!

Guess you better get to know those Mudcats! http://www.milb.com/index.jsp?sid=t249 Close enough, right? And sometimes MiLB can be more fulfilling than the Big League stuff. Okay, rarely, but still… it will fill a void.

Awesome! You guys are all so much more awesome than my actual friends. See, my actual friends are like, “have you seen how much stuff you have? AND you don’t have an apartment yet? flop waiting to happen.”
And you guys keep e-mailing and commenting suggestions and congratulations.
Ash was like, “seriously, you found a Boston bar before finding an apartment?”
      No one understands me here.
I just got back from the liquor store. So. I have like, a dozen boxes. That, my dears, is called A START.
And I got vodka. So there’s that.
      Can TOTALLY do this.

Congrats, L. Raleigh’s in for a treat. Sorry you won’t be coming further North, however. I know you would have rocked the First State.

Like Jeff said, you can watch the Mudcats, or the Durham Bulls who are pretty close. Hope all is going well with the move. Yes, it’s a pain, but change is good sometimes, and we all need a fresh start from time to time. All the best.
