Yeah. That’s the problem. <- SARCASM

“The problem is the atmosphere — the fans are out of it,” Kevin Millar said. “They didn’t get up until basically bases loaded when [Adrian Gonzalez] got up [in the ninth inning]. It’s just the way it is now. It’s just like, long, drawn out. I don’t understand it. … It was very odd for a Sox-Yankees rivalry last night. It was quieter than I’ve ever heard it.”

Yes. Let’s blame the fans.

Better yet, Millar, want to buy me a ticket and a flight to Boston? I’ll come up there and show Fenway how it’s done.

Millar is as clueless as all baseball players seem to be these days.

I will give him this. Going to Sox/Yankee games now a days is near impossible.

You have to enter a lottery and I am afraid the novelty of seeing these games means the real fans are not always at these games.

That being said we lost last night because the umpiring was suspect AND because Mr 200 million dollar man left the bases LOADED.

OR you have to pay $1000 a person for a “Red Sox Destinations” trip. Which we did in 2008. Yeah. I’ll admit it. Got to see an entire Sox/Evil series at the Cathedral. Plus a VIP tour of the place and a lunch/Q&A session with a player. Of course, they don’t give you one of the star players. We got Manny Delcarmen. Thank God it wasn’t Lugo. If they had given us Lugo, I would have demanded a refund. :-)
